March 7, 2009

Shannen Doherty has a new job! She’s the new Art Director for Pasadena Magazine in California. “Shannen’s always been interested in magazines. She’s learning how tough it can  be, but it’s just a great creative outlet,” says Shannen’s rep. I wonder why Shannen’s character, Brenda, didn’t work on the high school paper The Blaze?

So what does an Art Director do? Shannen has already begun booking covers and working on photo shoots. Maybe some of her star power can bring in some former 90210 stars for the cover!

Tori Spelling Teaches Rachel Ray the ‘Potty Dance’

March 6, 2009

90210’s Tori Spelling was on the Rachel Ray show to chat about her returning role on 90210, plus her Mom’s (Candy Spelling) new tell all book hitting shelves the same day as Tori’s new book Mommywood.

“I’m excited to read it,” she says. “We always have our ups and downs and it’s a constant work in progress, with any relationship I think. Ours is just more exposed.”

When asked about returning to 90210 Tori Donna said:

“I was scared the first day … because I was kind of coming into someone else’s world,” she admits. “The second day I got to work with Jenni Garth again and I was like, OK now I’m at home … we were giggling the same way we were 18 years ago except now we would giggle and then talk about our kids. We both have babies now, which is crazy!”

One of Rachel Ray’s backstage segments are Celebrity Food Gripes. Tori talks about how she hates when people make her PB&J (Peanut Butter & Jelly) sandwhiches and they don’t cut the crusts off.

Check out the video of her backstage (fast forward to :44 seconds)

New Images of Tori Spelling Super Skinny

February 16, 2009

Tori Spelling has apparently gotten way too thin in order to reprise her role as Donna Martin on the new 90210. It’s rumored the actress has lost an abundant amount of weight to compete with the other younger, super-skinny stars on the show.

Tori, please don’t lose too much weight!

February 16, 2009

90210’s Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth appear together at Mercedes-Benz fashion week for the Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. The pair were snapped on the red carpet just in time for their on screen reunion in 90210 as Tori joins the cast.

Jennie Garth and Hubby on Chelsey Lately

February 14, 2009

90210’s Jennie Garth and her husband Peter Facinelli were on the Chelsea Lately Show (my favorite show!) to promote… themselves. The couple were part of a Valentine’s Day theme show, Peter has been on the show before to promote the movie Twilight.

The couple talked about how they don’t want anymore kids, they are happy with having three girls.

Jennie had an embarassing moment when the tissue she had stuck under her armpit (huh?) slipped out of her dress. Jenny said she doesn’t wear deodorant because “a lady needs to sweat”.

Kelly & Donna Shop In The Rain

February 8, 2009

Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling filmed scenes for 90210 in Beverly Hills. The pair walked through the rain as they shopped ’til they dropped. This is the first episode Tori is filming for her return to the new 90210.

Sneak Peak! Tori Spelling’s New Book ‘Mommywood’

January 28, 2009

Tori Spelling is sharing an excerpt from her new book, Mommywood, due out on April 14th. Tori writes about being a Mommy to her son Liam and new daughter Stella - and dealing with the ups and downs of her role as a mother, wife and actress.

The doctors squeezed the self-heating goo on my belly and started moving the wand around. We already knew that tha baby was a boy. Now the doctor was saying calming, non-specific things like, “Looks good, all good. There’s his little foot.” Actually, who am I kidding? I have no idea what the doctor was saying. Something had me distracted. I was focused on the screen, staring hard at my baby’s delicate face. There he was, all perfect. Head, eyes, ears, but, well, I didn’t want to admit it, even to myself, but something was bothering me. His nose. I kept coming back to it. I was worried, well, was I even allowed to think this? It looked a little, um, large.

I was picking apart my unborn baby. I couldn’t help but flash back to the day my mother told me I’d be pretty “as soon as you have a nose job.” Mothers are supposed to think their children are gorgeous no matter what. What if I didn’t? What if I’d inherited some mutated gene from my mother that caused us to feel nothing but disappointment in our offspring? Oh my God, was a destined to replicate the mistakes my mother made? Do all moms wonder what their children will look like? Or was I living in Mommywood?
