Jason Priestley is set to direct an upcoming episode of the new 90210. Fans were hoping for Jason to return as Brandon Walsh to reunite with Kelly Taylor, but we may just have to hold on for that.

“I just hope that Jennie [Garth]’s in the episode that I do, or that Shannen [Doherty]’s there,” the actor told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show. “That’d be fun for me.”

He added “I’m really looking forward to it. It’s going to be a lot of fun to go over there and work with all those guys.”

In this week’s upcoming episode E! Online has revealed that Brenda mentions that she regularly speaks to her twin brother Brandon on the phone and gives some details on what he’s doing and where he is living. Also Brenda has a close phone relationship with Dylan, which may cause a rift between Brenda and Kelly.

Apparently in next week’s episode, “Model Behavior”, Dylan phones home to speak to Brenda, and winds up speaking to both Kelly (the mother of his son, Sammy) and Brenda.

I’m guessing Brandon is either in San Fransisco with his past love Emily Valentine, or working in New York or Washington D.C. for a prestigious newspaper or maybe even a College.

The mystery of who the father is to Kelly’s son Sam on 90210 will finally come to an end on this week’s episode. There have been rumors of it possibly being Dylan or Brandon - and even more rumors of it being Steve when we first met Sam, who has curly blonde hair like Steve Sanders. However, Ian Ziering has already confirmed it would be a “step backwards” to return to the show.

The new 90210 cast were seen filming at the new Peach Pitt location in LA on Beverly Boulevard. The  Kokomo Cafe has been transformed into the Peach Pitt for filming - you can see in the picture above the sign for Kokomo Cafe on the left side of the building.

Directors chairs were seen for costars Jessica Stroup, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds and Joe E. Tata, who is reprising the role as Nat, the owner of the Peach Pitt. I wonder if any of the kids will be working there like Brandon did?

The cast filmed exterior scenes in the outside dining area. It’s also been rumored an exact replica of th Peach Pitt interior is being built on an L.A.-area soundstage for future shooting, as well as a set for a Peach Pit nightclub upstairs from the restaurant.

Brian Austin Green seems to think the new 90210 has a 50/50 chance of making it. “I’m curious to see what people think,” Green said. “[The new '90210'] could be good. Or it will suck terribly. I have a lot to look forward to. ‘Terminator’ new episodes on Mondays at 8, and new ‘90210′ on a night at a certain time. I’ll plug both, why not? I should get paid by the other one, though.”

Seems like the men of Beverly Hills 90210 won’t be returning at all (at least not until 90210 becomes a huge hit.) Jason Priestly has already commented on not returning, “I think I sort of ran the gamut with Brandon — 249 episodes. I think Brandon did his time.”

Luke Perry is currently busy filming Law and Order: SVU, and said he doesn’t see a storyline for Dylan McKay to return to the series.

Ian Ziering, aka Steve Sanders, has also said he’s not interested in returning to 90210 - saying it would be a step backwards.

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee were thought to have named their two sons Dylan, 12, and Brandon, 10, after the show Beverly Hills 90210. But they insist any similarities in names are mere coincidence.

Anderson says, “When Tommy heard that (there were rumours the children were named after those characters), he wanted to change their names.

“I was doing a charity event recently and Jason Priestley came up to me laughing. He said, ‘I’ve heard your sons’ names… Isn’t that a coincidence?’ I said, ‘You know what, I’ve never watched your show!’”
