Shannen Doherty showed up to the 10th Anniversary Flaunt Magazine party looking a bit messed up. Maybe she’s back to her party girl ways? I’m not sure if these are just bad shots of her, or her bangs are too long, but she definetly looks out of it.

Shannen Doherty recently gave an interview to Ok! Magazine talked about her relationship with costar Jennie Garth. Shannen and Jennie were rumored to have on set fights during the days of Beverly Hills 90210.

The two reunited in the new 90210 and are going to be sharing even more scenes together. “Working with Jennie (Garth) this time around has been unbelievable.”

“Our scenes are always really good. We work really well together, and we just like each other.” Shannon explained.

Shannon went on to say that Jennie and her have come to a point in their lives where they realize… the like each other!

Rumors are flying that writers at 90210 are planning to kill off Shannen Doherty’s character, Brenda Walsh by making her die from an illness.

When asked about the rumors Jason Priestley told Access Hollywood,

“This is all news to me but this is fantastic. That is going to be awesome. No they haven’t given me anything yet. I don’t even know if the episode is written yet, but I love all those rumors that is juicy stuff.”

What is he thinking?

If this is true I wonder why the writers would do something so permanent - is it just to get attention or is it a way to keep Shannen Doherty from never returning to the show again?

Shannen Doherty dished about her character Brenda Walsh in an interview with Details magazine.

There were moments when I hated Brenda, but there were other moments when I saw vulnerability and greatness in her, and believed her passion for life would make her a great actor but not someone you would necessarily want to hang out with.

I don’t think Brenda was a complete brat. She was fueled by her insecurities: not being from Beverly Hills, not feeling safe in that environment. And then the love of her life was stolen from her. That can really injure a young girls esteem.

As for reprising her role as Brenda on the new 90210:

We all agreed we’d see how it goes. I can pay my mortgage and ride my horses because of those [original 90210] fans, is how I can repay them.

In an interview with Details magazine, Shannen Doherty talked about her marriage to Rick Salomon. The couple eloped after two weeks of dating in 1993, the marriage lasted only seven months. This reminds me of the BH 90210 storyline where Brenda attempts to elope with Stewart!

Rick Salomon isn’t just famous for his quickie marriage to Shannen, he later became famouse for releasing a sex tape he participated in with girlfriend Paris Hilton, One Night In Paris. He’s also moved on to others celebs like Pamela Anderson.

Shannen told Details:

I never had someone make me laugh so much. I was madly in love. It was a really hard marriage. When it ended, it was a heart-crushing thing. There was something that Rick provided that was amazing to me.

She goes on to talk about the sex tape her ex did:

I look at what he did [with Hilton] and think, ‘God, that’s disgusting.’

CW Execs are saying they’re hopefully Shannen Doherty will continue with 90210 after she finishes her contracted 4 episodes.

The series released a statement saying they would “love for her to do more” and there’s “definitely” a possibility that could happen.

Shannen’s spokesperson said “If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she’s happy to consider it.”

Wild child Shannen Doherty admitted in an articly recently to crashing a Corvette on the set of Beverly Hills 90210. Not only did she drive the car without permission, but she let co-star Ian Zierring take the blame for the wreck. “Ian was so sweet he took the blame for it.”

“I wanted to drive the Corvette so badly. We took it and I went too fast and hit this bump and it bottomed out,” explained Shannen.

Shannen Doherty might not be coming back to 90210 anymore, the actress said “They asked me to do a lot more,” she said, but “I’m in the middle of pitching a show, [so] I couldn’t commit to more than [I did].” Shannen signed on to do the first four episodes, which would mean she has two more episodes left (although she was not in the second episode this past week). The show said Shannen may return later in the season.

I wonder how this will affect the shows ratings. The second episode was the highest-rated show with women 18-34 (2.9/8) and women 12-34 (2.5/7), but it was a significant drop from the ratings of 90210’s premiere.

Fortunately, Jennie Garth has been asked to stay longer as well and she’s agreed to sign on for five more episodes.

Shannen Doherty recently told reporters she would love for former co-star Brian Austin Green to return to the new 90210.

She said:

Oh gosh, Brian Austin Green! I adore Brian, and Brian and I have always had a really good, strong relationship. The only thing about bringing him to 90210 is that I wouldn’t want him not on The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He is so good and it’s one of my favorite shows. So I want him back really badly, but at the same time, I love watching that show and I love watching him in it.

Brian played David Silver in Beverly Hills 90210 and was in the entire series until the series final. Since his and Kelly Taylor’s half-sister Erin Silver is part of the new gang, there would definetly be a part for him in the storyline.

But…if David were to return it would be strange for Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) not to be on the show since they married in the final episode.

Shannen Doherty was on Late Night with David Letterman on September 4th to promote her new role on 90210. Shannen hasn’t been on David Letterman since 1996.

Shannen talked about her love of horses and riding, and then the conversation turned naughty when she talked about Dave “riding her”.

The actress also reminded Dave that the two share the same Birthday, April 12th.
