No 90210 For Tori Spelling Because of Money
August 11, 2008
Tori Spelling was initially one the first original cast member to become a part of the new 90210, saying she excited to be reprise her role as Donna Martin who would have moved on to opening her own clothing store that all the new kids flock to.
But, Tori Spelling has changed her mind about returning to 90210, her rep says, “At this time, there are no plans for Tori to appear in the 90210 spinoff.”
The confirmation comes after DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com reported that Tori pulled out after learning that co-stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were earning $35,000-$50,000 per episode compared to Tori’s $10,000-$20,000 per episode salary.
“She thought she deserved parity, and she’s got a point,” an insider told Deadline Hollywood Daily.
It’s kind of shame she won’t be part of the new series, espcially since her father, Aaron Spelling created the original Beverly HIlls 90210.

I can’t believe CW won’t pay out for Tori! She is one of the main reasons why I’m so excited about the new 90210. I’m an old fan of the original series and love Donna.
And the execs at CW don’t seem too marketing savvy to me if they don’t consider the huge amount of viewers she would bring from her current reality show plus her cult gay following.
She is worth equal if not more pay the the others…especially Shannon Doherty who most likely won’t last on the show.
You better sign her up before it’s too late!
